Bank of China (Hong Kong) Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HK Section) Half Marathon
The Bank of China (Hong Kong) Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (Hong Kong Section) Half Marathon 2024/25 uses the world’s longest bridge-and-tunnel sea crossing “Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge” Hong Kong Section as the track. The Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates (HKAAA) hopes to host runners every year in this iconic major sporting event. This year’s event will be held on January 5, 2025. The HKAAA will invite elite runners from various East Asian countries and regions to compete with Hong Kong runners and strive for excellence.
The HZMB is a total of 55 km. The bridge runs through Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macau, and is one of the important hubs to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Greater Bay Area). The HZMB puts major cities in the Pearl River Delta within a three-hour commute from Hong Kong. At the same time, the HZMB is located on the Lingdingyang channel in the Pearl River Estuary, providing a beautiful backdrop for this magnificent bridge.
Runners can test their abilities while enjoying the majestic bridge and stunning scenery along the way.
